he club enjoyed trophy success last Sunday when our u11s won the Kellys Toyota tournament at Finn Park. The squad remained unbeaten in 5 games and won the final against Lagan Harps after a penalty shootout to cap off a fine afternoons work and they can now look forward to this weeks Foyle Cup which begins for them in Greysteel early on Monday morning.
A big congratulations to Eddie McGrath and his side on a great victory.
Our u14s are also in Foyle Cup and they finish preparations with a friendly game against Lifford at Leckview this Saturday with a 1pm kick off. They defeated Finn Harps 3-2 in a friendly last weekend with Sean McGinley scoring twice and Mark Cannon also netting.
The u17s lost out 5-3 to Institute in their first friendly and were due back in action on Wednesday night last. Scorers for Rovers were Darragh Morrison(pen), David O’Donnell and Codey Brogan.
The club will also be represented on Foyleside by our u9s and we wish them all well on what is a big week of football with games for all sides daily throughout the week and all updates will be posted on the clubs facebook page.
Ten years have flown by at our chief sponsors the Station House Hotel and to celebrate they have a fun filled Entertainment Extravaganza on the week ending 29th/30th and 31st July.
The hotel has proved a solid base for the Club and we wish Barlow, Shiloe and all the crew there the very best of luck on their tenth anniversary and heres to a great weekend.
