Delighted staff members of the Little Angels who were present on Saturday night along with the proprietor of Maggies Alice Lynch.
There was excitement in Maggie’s Tavern Carrickmore, St. Johnston, on Saturday night as The Around Donegal Cycle Group handed over the proceedings from this year’s cycle to the Principle of The Little Angels school Mrs Angela Keane and Vice Principle Mrs Margaret Kennedy.
With this being the final year of the cycle the group wanted to go out with a bang and that they did when the cheque was rolled out to the sum of €18,225 bringing the total over the 7 years to a staggering €124,485.

An astonished Mrs Keane thanked the members of the group and went on to explain to everyone present how the money helps the school invest in the most up to date technology which was recently recognised as the school was awarded the Digital School of Distinction award which recognises schools who strive for excellence in integrating ICT seamlessly within a school.
