The deadline for the Irish Language Translator Competition with a salary of over €4,000 a month is fast approaching.
The Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Natural Resources Seán Kyne urged applicants to apply as the deadlines is this Tuesday, July 12.
The competition is being held by the European Personnel Selection Office in order to fill up to 62 positions for Irish language translators in the EU institutions.
The posts which have a starting salary of €4,384 a month will be based in Brussels and Luxembourg – just over €52k a year.
The competition is open to university graduates, including those graduating this summer, with an excellent command of Irish and a thorough knowledge of at least two other official EU languages including English, French or German.
