A man missing from the North has been found safe and well in Co Donegal this evening.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and the family of missing Michael Meenan became increasingly concerned for his welfare.
The 57-year-old had not been seen since 9pm on Thursday evening.
It is believed that he may have travelled to the Strabane area and crossed into Donegal early this morning in a red coloured Peugeot 207 car.
A member of his family confirmed to Donegal Daily that Michael has been found safe and well and has been reunited with his family.
It is understood that Michael, who is originally from Newry in Co Down, had been spotted on CCTV entering Donegal.
It is understood Michael is in good health and his family say he wants to put his ordeal behind him.
Both the Gardai and the PSNI have thanked the public for their assistance in the case.
