Two convoys of cars are set to travel to Dublin to demand the industry is regulated properly.
One group of protesters will leave from the Ballyshannon Market Yard – behind the bus station at 7.30am on Saturday for the drive to Merrion Square in Dublin.
Another convoy will leave the car park at Letterkenny Shopping Centre – also at 7.30am.
“We will join up with other convoys along the way to Dublin where the demonstration will be at Merrion Square at midday,” said motorist Valerie McNulty who is helping to organise the Donegal cavalcade.
She said protestors from across Ireland will be involved in the demonstration.
The are demanding an end to what they call “extortionate” premiums and an end to “age discrimination”.
They are also demanding a crackdown on fraudulent claims and a reduction in pay-outs.
