Police are carrying out a full investigation into the accident.
BREAKING NEWS: A Donegal woman has been killed after being involved in a road traffic accident while on holiday abroad.
The woman, who is in her 70s, was killed following injuries she sustained in the crash in Spain yesterday.
The woman, who is from Gortahork, was out on holiday with her children and grandchildren when the accident happened.
She was rushed to hospital and received emergency treatment but died from her injuries a short time later.
A full investigation is being carried out in the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance for the woman’s family.
