The Traveller’s Inn, Milford is looking to expand its team and has a number of new positions available.
The local bar and restaurant, who celebrated their 10th birthday last year, has an opening for a part and full time chef/cook as well as part time opportunities for bartenders and waiters.
Centrally located in the town, The Traveller’s Inn offers locally sourced and fresh produce at exceptional value. The cosy venue is open seven days a week from 12 noon to 9.00pm and offers a host of homemade and fresh dishes to suit every type of eater.
Owner of the Traveller’s Inn, Michael McBride says that customer satisfaction and use of local produce is core to the Milford business.
“Over the last ten years, we’ve been perfecting our menu and we’re confident that we give our customers the very best that Donegal has to offer. Thankfully, the business has continuously grown over the last decade and it’s all down to our talented, customer-focused team. We’re looking for experienced cooks/chefs, bartenders and waiters to join the team and if you’re hard-working, motivated and willing to grow with us, then we’d love to hear from you.”
The Traveller’s Inn recently launched a new special offer, ‘Start & Tart’, which runs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the summer season.
Customers can opt to have a starter and a dessert for just €9.90. Perfect for those just looking for a lite bite during the summer days. Appetizers vary depending on season but staples at The Traveller’s Inn include Atlantic prawn cocktail, wholesome homemade soup, deep fried brie, egg mayonnaise, breaded mushrooms and hot and spicy chicken wings with house sauce.
The menu also features a range of delicious main courses including roast rib of tender Donegal beef, succulent stuffed turkey and Donegal ham and warm chicken salad. For fish lovers, there’s fresh catch of the day, sourced directly from Donegal harbours and served with a homemade tartar sauce. The Traveller’s Inn steak burger is a house favourite and classics such as spicy chicken curry and golden fried chicken goujons complete the menu.
