On Cue Cultural & Performing Arts with special guests, An Grianan Theatre Childrens’ Drama Group, performed to a packed An Grianan Theatre this week.
The sell out show “Musically On Cue” produced by On Cue Academy directors Nora Kavanagh and Trudy O’Donnell saw 94 children and young people take to the stage performing adaptations from Hairspray, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Peter Pan, Cinderella.
They displayed circus skills and completed the evening with a 70 strong choir conducted by Trudy O’Donnell and accompanied by pianist, Jason Friel.
Other special guest performers on the night were Maire Kelly, Orson Sterritt, Nora Kavanagh and Eoghan Mac Ghiolla Bhridge.
The Show was entertainingly compered by Lee Gooch. Classes at both An Grianan and On Cue Cultural and Performing Arts Academy resume in September.
