ST Eunan’s U14 CAMOGIE team have been crowned County champions after their final win over Carndonagh this evening in Burt.
The team won the title last year for the first time in almost 40 years.
And in just the past few weeks they won the county league title and an All-Ireland Feile title.
So the win over a battling Carn side on Monday evening completed an historic treble for the team managed by Kilkenny native Joe Kealy.
Star of the show in the championship final was Maria Kealy who finished with a personal tally of 3-03. Goals from the same player secured a fine win over Burt in the semifinals.
Manager Joe is keen to see Camogie grow further in Donegal and in Letterkenny in the years ahead.
“We have an open door policy and welcome girls from Letterkenny and the surrounding areas who want to come along and try out this wonderful sport,” said Joe.
