This guide has been produced by the Donegal Age Friendly Alliance which is made up of representatives from both Statutory and Voluntary agencies that provide services and supports to older people and representatives of Older People themselves.
The need for this type of a guide was identified in the Donegal Age Friendly Strategy which was launched in May 2015. The information in this guide is presented in a clear format making it very easy to use and the booklet is free of charge. It will be available from post offices and local libraries as well as from Donegal County Council’s website www.donegalcoco.ie .
