MAN’S THREE HOUR BATTLE WITH SHARK OFF DONEGAL – IN A KAYAK!

A man out fishing in a kayak off the coast of Donegal has been left stunned after landing a shark.

Graham Smith battled for more than three hours on Saturday to land the 136kg porbeagle shark off Malin Head.

Porbeagles carry little threat to humans but tell that to someone in a kayak when these creatures typically reach 2.5 metres.

After landing the huge fish, Mr Smith released it.

Brave Graham often fishes for large fish species and uses underwater cameras to capture his experiences which he posts on You Tube.

The experienced angler says it was “above and beyond” anything else he has experienced.
