Seanóg Foody, who works at Brian McCormick Sports in the town, was very proud of his medal at the end of the run.
Seanóg said: “I did the LondonMarathon at the end of April. What a lot didn’t know is that I did it in Aid of Little Angels School.
“When I gave the money raised I felt proud and privileged to be able to help those who deserve it as it shows being selfless has its benefits and shows one’s true character as…..
“What we do for ourselves dies with us, but what we do for others remains, and is immortal”
He added: “Thanks to everyone who sponsored me no matter how big or small the donation it all counts. €700 was raised.”
