FEATURES: A former All-Ireland boxing champion has started a new food business which is aimed at delivering customers fast top quality grub!
Multiple All-Ireland winner Steven O’Reilly along with his brother Martin and sister Deirdre have launched their new business, aptly named the ‘The Food Wagon’.
However, this isn’t your traditional food van that serves up chips, burgers, hot-dogs and the rest.
O’Reilly, who is also a qualified personal trainer, has centered his business around providing people with fast food that is healthy.
The popular Twin Towns man will make his debut with ‘The Food Wagon’ tomorrow afternoon at Donegal’s Ulster SFC quarter-final clash against Fermanagh.
O’Reilly will be joined in the new venture by his sister Deirdre and brother Marty.
However, don’t expect to see Marty in the van, as he’ll be on the playing pitch at Mac Cumhaill Park hopefully helping Donegal reach the Ulster SFC semi-final.
O’Reilly told Donegal Daily, “There isn’t anything like this on the market, there are dozens of fast food vans, but they’re serving up the same things.
“We feel that given the option, the majority of people would opt for a healthy wrap or sandwich over a greasy burger or taco fries.
“It’s obviously going to be a seasonal venture for us, but we’re excited about it, and as I said, I genuinely feel there’s a place for it on the market.
“We’ll be making the debut tomorrow for the big championship game, I’ll be there with Deirdre, and Marty will be his stuff on the pitch, but only after having one of our delicious wraps!
“So make sure and drop into us on your way to the game tomorrow afternoon.”
The Food Wagon provides wraps, sandwiches, scones, salads, fruit salads and tea and coffee.
