Ahead of Sunday’s Ulster Championship clash with Fermanagh, Manager Rory Gallagher has announced his starting XV to take to the field this Sunday.
No real surprise inclusions in the starting Donegal team for Sunday’s fixture with Fermanagh.
Mark Anthony McGinley is to get his championship debut on Sunday as Michael Boyle is still recovering from his injury. A great opportunity for the St.Michael’s man.
Hugh McFadden comes into midfield for the injured Neil Gallagher as Leo McLoone is down to start at number 10.
Eoghan ‘Ban’ Gallagher and Ciaran Thompson were tipped by many to start but Gallagher has gone with experience to hopefully overcome the Erne men this Sunday in McCumhaill park.
Gallagher will know nothing will be easy as Fermanagh easily overcame Antrim by 6 pts in the preliminary round of this years Ulster Championship.
Tomas Corrigan who scored 9pts Vs Antrim, gave an exhibition of shooting from the sideline and free kicks so Gallagher will surely be looking to mark up the Fermanagh inside line which also contains prolific Sean Quigley.
Monaghan await the winner of this quarter-final fixture, while the loser will have an away tie against Wexford in the qualifiers of the All-Ireland series.
