IT’S going to be another scorcher!
And it has been so hot these past few days council workers have taken to putting sand on some roads as the tar MELTS in the heat.
Temperatures in inland areas of Donegal will top an astonishing 24C today, say forecasters.
“Saturday will be warm and humid,” said Met Eireann’s Evelyn Cusack.
“Most areas will hold dry with spells of sunshine. However it will be a little cloudier than recent days but temperatures will be around 20C to 25C, with little or no wind, warmest inland.”
It’s good news for some of the country’s top festivals this weekend.
Thousands of people are at the Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon.
And it’s hard to beat the Melting Pot festival in Ardara!
