FEATURES: Due to increasing demand the fabulous Shandon Hotel and Spa have decided to open their 120-seater dining room for Sunday lunch.
The demand for bar food has been unprecedented and many have lodged their interest in some ‘fine dining’ for Sunday lunch.
The Shandon dining room overlooks the beautiful Sheephaven bay and is lead by Restaurant Head Chef Lee Vambeck who produces his menu’s with creativity and flair.
Lee told Donegal Daily, “I want to create a sophisticated Sunday lunch, Carvery lunches are popular in Donegal, however, we can all cook a roast at home, which is why I committed to a menu that was not something anyone can re-create at home, it is a higher level of food in terms of taste, presentation and of course service’.”
On arrival, guests will be welcomed by a glass of bubbly and presented with a lunch menu which boasts the freshest of locally sourced ingredients and each dish being prepared fresh in house by our team of talented Chefs.
After lunch, GM Carolynne recommends that you take in the view from our
terrace, if the weather is nice, it is the perfect place to sit, relax and perhaps even indulge in one of their popular ‘Shandon G&Ts’.
Isn’t that what Sundays are made for?!
The Shandon Leisure Centre is no available to non-members, swimmers can pay as they go or join for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
