CAPPRY ROVERS U12’s
Cappry played their last group match last Tuesday evening when they hosted Glenea Utd. Luke McGlynn scored 1st for Cappry, Kevin McCormack got the 2nd before Glenea pulled 1 back. Cappry didn’t let this effect them and they soon got a 2 goal advantage again when Mark Mbuli scored. Shaun Ward made sure of the 3 points with Capprys 4th goal. Final score was 4-1 and they finished top of their group on maximum points.
Next up was Milford Utd in the 1st leg of the semi-finals of the Champions League. 1st leg was played in Milford and Cappry came home with an excellent 3-0 win. Jack Long, Mark Mbuli and Andrew Murray scoring the Cappry goals.
The 2nd leg will take place Cappry Park tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 7.30pm.
It’s important to state that it’s only halftime in this match and they need as much support as possible as they chase the dream of being the 1st Cappry team to win the competition. This will be the last game on home soil this term because if they are lucky enough to win a place in this years final, it will be played in a neutral venue.
Please come and show your support and make as much noise as possible.
Best of luck lads.
