ST EUNAN’S and Carndonagh U14 girls went head-to-head at O’Donnell Park last night in a fine display of camogie.
The ancient sport is alive and well thanks to a handful of Donegal clubs.
And all the skills were on display in the keenly fought contest.
St Eunan’s proved too strong and finished comfortable victors on a warm sunny evening in the Park, but the Carn girls can be proud of their efforts – and of keeping the camogie tradition vibrant in Inishowen for years to come.
Both clubs are doing incredible work at underage level with teams right through to U6s – and teams open to players from neighbouring clubs who don’t have a camogie set-up.
