A huge crowd is expected to attend the funeral of Donegal businessman Gerard Flynn which takes place later this morning.
The popular pharmacist who lived in Dunfanaghy with his family, was one of the most well-liked and respected businessmen in the county.
He ran a successful pharmacy in Falcarragh, and was described by those who knew him as a ‘complete gentlemen’.
Mr Flynn, formerly of Westport, Co. Mayo – died following a crash at Duncrew in Castleblayney, when the car he was driving left the road and struck a fence.
His funeral mass will take place in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
