Ramelton man Conrad Logan has picked up a Scottish Cup winner’s medal after Hibernian sensationally lifted the title today by beating favourites Rangers.
Logan, who only recently joined the Scottish side after being made a free agent by Leicster, was chosen by Hibs boss Alan Stubbs to start.
Former Celtic star Anthony Stokes was the hero for Hibs as he scored twice and terrorised the Rangers defence throughout.
Hibs led 1-0 – before Rangers evened things up.
The Glasgow side then went ahead – but Stokes levelled.
And in a sensational finish Hibs captain David Gray headed home the winner in the dying embers of the game.
It ends a 114-year wait for Hibernian for a Scottish Cup win.
And a Donegal man is part of that sensational piece of football history.
