LETTERKENNY ROVERS FC NEWS: It was an honour for the club to be playing at the Aviva in the FAI intermediate Cup and although we lost on the field to a very good Crumlin side we were very much winners off it during a cup run which has stirred manys an emotion amongst young and not so young alike.
Its a testament to Eamon McConigley and his bunch of fine talented footballers to have reached the Aviva and the boys should be well proud of their achievements which have been phenomenal from the beginning of the season and their efforts have not gone unnoticed by the greater Letterkenny and Donegal public which were out in force in Dublin to cheer them on.
The club would sincerely like to thank those who made the trip to Dublin and those who sent us a large volume of messages of goodwill while we would also like to thank those who offered generous financial support through a number of different avenues.
