A TOP Donegal hotel is celebrating – after picking up a Food Oscar at the annual awards of the Restaurant Association of Ireland.
Harvey’s Point was named Best Hotel Restaurant in Ulster at the glittering ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Dublin where 900 people gathered for the awards last night.
The award is a testament to chef Colin McKee, who runs the 2AA Rosette Restaurant at the four-star hotel overlooking Lough Eske, and his gifted team.
There was another provincial winner at the awards.
The Aroma Coffee shop won best Ulster cafe at the glittering ceremony.
The cafe in Donegal Town craft village is famous for its home-baking.
