Letterkenny Rovers were on the wrong end of a 5-0 defeat in the FAI Intermediate Cup final at the Aviva in Dublin last night.
Crumlin United retained the trophy they won last year, with Gregory Moorehouse hitting a hat-trick.
And there was no complaints from Rovers’ players.
“Thanks to everyone who sent me messages before the match, and to those who travelled up to support us,” said Mark Forker today.
“The support was incredible and while we wish the outcome was different, the best team won on the day and fair play to them.
“It has been an incredible journey and it was a great experience.”
