Fr Brian Ó Fearraigh’s efforts helped contribute an astonishing €12,000 to the Donegal Hospice, the Good and New charity shop and the Cancer Bus.

A Tea Party at Ostan Loch Altán and a number of other activities took place.

Fr Brian described the support for the fundraisers as “truly amazing”.

“Thanks to one and all, but especially to Bernie and Mairéad, the brains and backbone behind it all. Thank you both for giving and sharing your energy, time and talents with those who need it,” said the popular priest.

“As Sacred Scripture says, “It is in giving that we receive” My prayer is that all of you will receive the blessings of peace, happiness, love and joy in abundance, for the kindness and support shown and given. Go raibh míle maith agaibh uilig agus nach fíor na focaile a deir; Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine!”
