FEATURES: Colman Noctor will deliver a presentation to parents on Tuesday 10th May in Crana College, Buncrana.
He will speak about his experiences of working with teenagers and young adults. Specifically, he will offer advice to parents, teachers and adults on how they should support young people who are becoming more and more obsessed and dependant on their mobile phones and the technology that they offer.
Colman is a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytical Psychotherapist. He has worked across a range of Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services both in Ireland and abroad and he has a wealth of national and international clinical experience.
As a self-confessed technology addict himself he has a keen interest in the effects of contemporary media on child development and mental health and frequently contributes to national media on this topic.
Colman’s best selling parental-advice book ‘Cop On. What it is and why your child needs it to thrive and survive in today’s world’ was published in March 2015
The presentation will take place in Crana College at 7pm on Tuesday 10th May. All parents – whether your child is attending Crana College or not – are welcome to hear Colman speak.
