DONEGAL is going to be the warmest place in Ireland – for next three days.
It is going to be 23C on Monday, according to Met Eireann forecaster Siobhan Ryan.
And it’s going to be in and around 20C on Tuesday and 18C Wednesday.
It will get cooler on Thursday and Friday – but there is going to be (at last) loads of sunshine and blue skies.
Ms Ryan said it is going to be “close and humid” – just like a day in Spain.
But it will be fresher from midweek onwards, with a northerly drift of winds for next weekend and more normal temperatures.
“Temperatures above normal in Donegal, locally 20 or 21 C., in the North and West on Tuesday – warm, but certainly no heat wave,” said Siobhan.
“But Donegal is the place to be over the next three days or so.”
After mid-week a high pressure will settle, but winds will come from the north, taking temperatures to around 13C for a few days.
Who’s complaining? Sure, it’s dry hi.
