DAVITT AND PALS COMPLETE BELFAST MARATHON IN MEMORY OF EVAN

unnamed-5DAVITT Walsh and three of his pals have completed a relay event at the Belfast Marathon – in memory of one of the boys lost in the Buncrana tragedy.

Sean McGrotty (49) his sons Mark (12) and Evan (8), the boys’ grandmother Ruth Daniels (57) and their auntie Jodie-Lee (14), all died in the freak accident.

Evan was suffering from muscular dystrophy.

And today Davitt and his friends ran the marathon as part of a relay team to raise money for the charity

Evan’s mum Louise, Tommy McCallion, Davitt Walsh and Tommy McCallion Jnr are all pictured at the Belfast Marathon today – wearing Team Evan t-shirts.

Mark Forker and Sean O’Hara were also part of the charity fundraising run.
