BREAKING NEWS: Gardai have swooped on a number of car-wash operations in the Letterkenny area.
Both detectives and uniformed Gardai are at the scene of two car-wash operations in the town.
The businesses, which are run by a Romanian businessman, are located on both the Pearse Road and the Letterkenny Link Road next to Century Cinemas.
Gardai with official Garda jackets are speaking to a number of employees at the car washes.
A number of women who arrived at the car wash next to Century Cinemas are also being spoken to.
It is understood that no arrests have been made.
It is not known the nature of the investigation yet and Gardai are making no official comment at this stage.
