U14 fixtures were disrupted at the weekend, with no games played at all in an entire division.
It was a free weekend for clubs as no county teams were in action.
One game which did go ahead was a cracking Division 2 game.
There was a brillant display of football on Saturday in Falcarragh where Cloughaneely beat neighbours Gaoth Dobhair by 2 pts on a scoreline of 4.07 to 5.02.
All the skills of ladies football were on display, great attacking football, some brillant dispossesions and even better block downs of attempted foot passes.
The game was played in the spirit intended and neither team gave an inch. The hosts led at half time 4.03 to 3.00.
There was a great second half display by Gaoth Dobhair who drew level with only a few minutes left, however Cloughaneely held on scoring two late points to clinch victory. The future of ladies football in both clubs looks bright.
Both county teams are in action this weekend in a double header against Armagh at Clan na Gael GAA Club in Lurgan.
The league team take on the Armagh development team at 1.30pm. The Championship team play the Armagh Championship team at 3pm.
