The death has occurred at St Eunan’s Nursing Home, Ramelton Road, Letterkenny of Rev. Sr. Margaret Doherty, Loreto Community, formerly of Loreto Convent, Letterkenny and Burtonport.
Her remains will repose at St Eunan’s Nursing Home from 5pm-8pm today Thursday 14th April , with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral from there tomorrow Friday April 15th at 10.30am, going to St Columba’s Church, Burtonport for 12 noon Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the family plot in the Old Cemetery, Dungloe.

Removal on Friday, April 15th, at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Dromoghill. with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Matilda (Tilly) Cannon (neé Hutchison) OF Carrowniskey, Louisburgh and native of Meenletterbale, Lecamey, Moville.
Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Loving wife of the late Michael and mother of the late Thomas. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving daughter Geraldine Kelly (Ballyvary) son Joe (Carrowniskey), grandchildren Josephine, Thomas, John, Michael, Darren, Thomas, Sandra, Aishling, Laura and Sean, great-grandchild Chloe, daughters-in-law Ann and Eithne, son-in-law Patrick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at her home in Carrowniskey on Thursday (April 14th) from 1pm, until 11am on Saturday morning, removal on Saturday morning at 11.30am to the Church of the Holy Family Killeen for 12 noon Mass of the Resurrection, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
