Three-Rivers Shotokan Karate-Club traveled to Ardee at the weekend to take part in the 2016 International Open Karate Championships.
This event seen some of the top competitors from England, Scotland, Wales and all over Ireland descend on Ardee to compete in this annual competition. As always the members of Three-Rivers Shotokan Karate-Club thrived on this high standard and seen them return to Lifford with multiple medals.
Saturday saw a few newcomers to the scene and they didn’t disappoint in their first outing with Amy Gallagher winning silver in Kata, Brody Hannigan Bronze in Kata and Eoin Crawford taking bronze in Kumite.
