Donegal U21 manager Declan Bonner has been hit with a whopping six-month ban following his part in a ‘fracas’ which occurred in the immediate aftermath of his side’s loss to Tyrone last week.

Tyrone knocked Bonner’s U21 side out of the Ulster Championship at Celtic Park last Wednesday.

There was unsavoury scenes at the end of that match last week after an ill-tempered clash which seen Donegal have two players sent off.

Both the Tyrone and Donegal county boards have been given fines of €2,000 respectively by the Ulster Competitions Controls Committee.

It is not yet known exactly what Bonner has been banned for, but it is believed it is due to his part in the melee that broke out between management and players from both sides last Wednesday night.
