There is a Child Protection course on Monday night 11th April in the club house from 7-15pm to 10.30pm.
There are 18 places already taken up there is room for two more. If you or if you know someone that has to do this course they should contact Annmarie McDaid at 0863387363.
Remember anyone involved with children coaching, managing, or helping in anyway must have this course done and be Garda Vetted. It’s the law.
Variety Concert in Aid of Glenswilly Church
This Friday April 8th at 8pm Glenswilly GAA Club will play host to an evening of great entertainment to raise some much needed funds for Glenswilly Chapel’s Restoration Fund.
Performers on the night include local World Champion dancer Gavin Shevlin alongside his world top 10 ranked sister Niamh, renowned Donegal musicians Coirm, the Ulster Scór Sinsear finalists from Glenswilly, the Glenfinn players, Maria McCormick and many many more talented local musicians and singers.
Entry on the night is only €10 for adults and children under 15 go free. Draw tickets and prizes also available on the night.

Glenswilly Ladies notes
Glenswilly ladies were beaten by Fanad in Gaeltacht semi final last Friday, Final score 10 points to 5.
Next outing for the ladies is on Sunday 10th April against McCumhaills in the shield competition. Training continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Under 14 girls had a good win on Saturday against Killybegs. This week they are away to Gweedore. U14 girls training is on Monday 6-7pm at the training pitch.
Table Quiz is planned for Friday 27th May in Callaghans in Churchill, with Hughie McClafferty as quizmaster.
There will be a ladies referee course on 13th April, venue to be confirmed.
The course will start at 7pm and last for three hours. It is suitable for anyone Over 16 who is interested in refereeing ladies/girls matches.

Seniors and Reserves
The Seniors and Reserves will travel to the Bridge in Dunfanaghy this Saturday to take on St Michaels. The Reserve throw-in is at 5.15pm while the senior game gets underway at 6.45pm. All support is welcomed.
Darkness into light
The club hope to have another group entry this year in the Darkness into Light to support Pieta House. Anyone wishing get to join our group please text name to 0861611240 before 15th April. The cost is €20 per person for this extremely worthy cause.
Easter draw winners
The winners of the Easter Draw is as follows: 1st – Erin O’Donnell, Convoy, 2nd – Cormac Gallagher, 3rd – Jessica Duffy. The seller’s prize was won by Owen Collum. Thanks to everyone who bought lines for the draw. Your support goes directly into the facilities at the club. Thank you again.
U14 girls
Under 14 Girls Training has been changed to Monday evenings 6pm to 7 .15 on the training pitch .
Well done to the girls on winning their first league game against Killybegs at the weekend.
U14s boys
After two good opening games in which they beat Naomh Colmcille and Letterkenny Gaels, the U14 boys team were beaten by Termon this week. Their next game is away to Buncrana next Monday.
U10 blitz
The U10s will have a blitz this weekend in Glenswilly where they will take on Dungloe and Ardara.
Lotto
The winner of last week’s lotto was Seamus McMonagle from Glendowan who matched 3 numbers. The winning numbers were 3,17,21 and 22. Lottos are available from most local businesses or by connecting any member of the lotto committee.
Bingo
Bingo continues in the hall every Wednesday starting at 9pm.
