JOB VACANCIES: Inishowen Tourism is a not for profit co-operative, working to promote the Inishowen peninsula, by supporting local tourism organisations and to enhance the tourism experience through digital media, social networking and face to face contact.
Management at Inishowen Tourism are now on the lookout for candidates to fill the following positions under the Community Services Programme:
MARKETING OFFICER:
- Full time 39 hrs/wk at statutory minimum wage and will be located at the Tourism Office, Railway Road, Buncrana.
- The Marketing Officer role will be responsible for delivering the brand objectives in line with the Inishowen Tourism Business/Marketing Plan.
- Hours will include evening and weekends as required.
- Experience or qualification in tourism or marketing would be an advantage.
CORPORATE ADMINISTRATOR:
- Part time 19.5 hrs/wk at statutory minimum wage and will be located at the Tourism Office, Railway Road, Buncrana.
- The Corporate Administration Assistant will act as a “hub” for all corporate information management and office support and will interact with front-line staff, executive management and company suppliers providing an efficient and professional corporate service.
- Experience or qualification in book-keeping or office administration would be an advantage.

The rules of the Programme require that 70% of the posts (excluding that of the Manager position) are confined to candidates who are in receipt of unemployment assistance/benefit, one parent family payment, disability allowance/benefit or currently in a Community Employment or Jobs Initiative Scheme.
Verification of eligibility by the Department of social Protection is a requirement.
