FOOTBALL: Letterkenny Rovers are just ninety minutes away from reaching the final of the FAI Intermediate Cup at the Aviva Stadium.

However, a hugely difficult away tie against top class opposition in the form of Ringmahon Rangers (Cork) stands in their way.

Eamon McConigley’s side head to Cork this Sunday hoping to ensure their passage to the final of the FAI Intermediate Cup for the first time in the club’s illustrious history.

Midfielder Mark Forker attended the press preview of the last four of the competition, and while he feels Ringmahon are favourites, he feels confident his side can cause an upset.

Rovers have defeated Cockhill Celtic, Dunboyne AFC, Midelton and Killester United on their way to the last four.

They also ensured their passage to the final of the Donegal News League Cup final with a fine 3-1 win over Bonagee United on Sunday.
