Cloughaneely’s 1st league game of the season has been changed to this Saturday, March 19th. They travel to face Milford, with seniors fielding first at 3:00 and reserves 4:30! We wish both teams the best of luck as they start out in the competitive Div 2 league campaign!
***Intermediate Club Championship Draw***
The 2016 Championship draw was made on Saturday last. Cloughaneely were drawn in group B alongside N.Colmcille, N.Últan and Aodh Ruadh; with their only home game being against Aodh Ruadh in round 1.
***U-21A Championship***
In the U-21 A Championship Cloughaneely will face Aodh Ruadh in the 1st round.
***Minors***
Our Minors have had a great start to the season! Their first league game took place on Sunday March 6th where they defeated Termon 5-08 | 3-10 ! They played their 2nd game on Sunday past in what was a thrilling encounter in an away game against Milford; the lads managed to win with a hard fought 3 point margin with a Final Score of 4-10|1-16. Top scorer on the day was Míchael McHugh who notched up a personal tally of 2-03, with the other goals coming from Aaron Carton and Ciaran McFadden. Maith Sibh!
****Club Membership Deadline****
The deadline for payment of membership is March 25th. We will hold one final registration night on Friday 18th from 8:00-9:00 pm at the club house. Please note: In the event of another successful year for our county senior team, only club members who have registered and fully paid membership by the deadline will be eligible for match ticket allocation. ***PLEASE NOTE: No shops within our Parish will be selling match tickets this year.*** The cost of adult club membership for 2016 is €30, underage membership is €10. If you are unable to attend our final registration night and wish to pay membership, please call Marie on 086-835 1996.
***Club Draw***
Congratulations to Cassie McGeady, Baltony, winner of the €200 in our club draw which was held for all those who purchased National Club Draw tickets from the club!
***Shamrocks for sale***
The ladies board have pots of shamrocks on sale at various outlets throughout the parish and beyond. They are priced at €5 each and funds raised go towards the running of the club!

Congratulations to Paddy McClafferty (Snr!) who was appointed as assistant Treasurer at last weeks monthly club meeting!

Well done to Roisin Ni Chuireáin who helped University College Dublin to the O’Connor Cup on Saturday past by beating University of Limerick 1-07|0-09!!
