The Swilly Seals had eight young swimmers compete in the Templemore minor meet in Lisburn on Saturday 19th March. This meet saw the top Ulster swimmers aged twelve and under compete across the four strokes in three distances.
Sean Pascaul won Bronze in the 50m Breaststroke and Silver in the 50m Freestyle. He also placed 4th in the 100m Breaststroke.
Brian Sukevics placed lifted Bronze in the 25m Freestyle and 25 Backstroke.
Molly Nulty won Bronze in the 100m Backstroke, Silver in the 100m Individual Medley and lifted a further two Golds in the 50m Freestyle and 50m Breaststroke.
Oran Nulty placed 4th in the 100m Individual Medley and won Silver in the 25m Breaststroke.
Johnny Lambe took two Bronze Medals in the 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly and placed 4th in the 50m Backstroke.
Cody Dunnion won Silver in the 50m Butterfly and 100m Breaststroke and went on to win Gold in the 50m Breaststroke.
Noah du Plessis had a busy day swimming eight events and lifted Bronze in the 25m Breaststroke and 25m Freestyle.
Isabel du Plessis had a busy day lined up but only managed one swim as a viral infection took hold, however she did manage to place 4th in the 50m Freestyle.
A massive well done to all swimmers on their achievements in such a high level of competition.
This weekend the Swilly Seals are hosting the Swim Ulster P.T.L time trial where swimmers will be hopeful of qualifying for a place on the North Ulster team who will take on the South Ulster team in April. Warm up starts at 6pm.
