LEAGUE OF IRELAND: Paddy Power bookmakers are offering astonishing odds of 16-1 on Finn Harps recording an away win against Premier Division champions Dundalk.
Harps travel to Oriel Park tonight, buoyed by their superb win over their bitter North-West rivals Derry City last week.
Harps recorded a 2-1 win last week, which was their first win over Derry City in the league for eighteen years.
There’s no doubt Harps face a difficult task against Stephen Kenny’s Dundalk outfit, who are aiming to win a third league title on the trot.
However, to make them 16-1 outsiders is outrageous – and will be extra motivation for Ollie Horgan’s side.
There is great optimism around Finn Park, and RTE Soccer Republic pundit Tony McDonnell believes Harps can be the surprise package of the entire league season.
However, the bookmakers at Paddy Power obviously don’t share the same sentiment with their disrespectful odds.
A few Harps fans making the trip tonight might fancy a little flutter with odds like that!
It’s surely worth a tenner?
