DONEGAL COUNTY COUNCILLOR CALLS FOR ELECTORATE TO VOTE FOR PAT THE COPE

GENERAL ELECTION: A prominent Donegal County Councillor has pleaded with the Donegal electorate to vote for Pat ‘The Cope’ Gallagher in this year’s General Election.

McGowan has called on voters to vote for Gallagher – because he’s someone that will always get things done with his warm personality and his knowledge of what can be done.

McGowan told Donegal Daily, “If at first an application is turned down or refused for any reason, or when someone find themselves in difficulty and they need support- they need someone there and then – not a politician just blaming the Government of the day.

“I believe people want someone who will represent them regardless of who is in Government.

“We do not get to vote who the next Taoiseach is, or who the Minister for Health is ‘it is left to the Dail to decide that, but we do decide who is best placed to represent our concerns.

“Pat the Cope has a track record second to none and while others will promise to change everything and deliver all sorts, Pat the Cope is often the person people in Donegal turn too in times of most difficulty regardless of their politics.
