CRIME ALERT: A fraudster is going door-to-door looking for money for a project he isn’t involved in.

CRIME ALERT: Donegal Daily have been contacted to inform the public of a fraudster going door-to-door looking for money for a musical project he is not associated with.

The individual at the centre of this fraud, is also claiming to be someone he is not and is telling people he is involved with the Loft Youth Project in Letterkenny.

However, he has nothing to do with the Loft Youth Project and is asking for donations towards a musical event he is not associated with – and again he is not the person he is claiming to be.

John Muldowney contacted Donegal Daily and asked us to inform the public.

Muldowney said, “Would it be possible for you to put out a notice that a young man is going door-to-door collecting money for a music project using my name.

“I work in the Loft Youth Project and run many such events and projects.

“This man has nothing to do with me or the Loft and should not be given any money.”
