OVERNIGHT snow will hit parts of Donegal, the BBC has warned.
Forecaster Angie Philips says parts of the north and west of the county will see some of the white stuff by dawn.
The forecaster also issued a snow warning for parts of Antrim and Down.
It will be chilly start to Wednesday with risk of frost and icy patches too.
Any overnight rain, sleet or snow will clear quickly in the morning and scattered wintry showers elsewhere will largely die out
Most areas will be cold and dry for much of the day with bright spells of winter sunshine. Feeling cold throughout, with highest temperatures of just 4 to 7 degrees Celsius, in mostly moderate westerly breezes. Some showers will push in from Atlantic later.
