Paul Durcan has hinted at a possible return to the Donegal squad this summer after he helped Ballyboden St Enda’s book their place in the All-Ireland Club Final next month.
Ballyboden St Enda’s needed extra-time to see of plucky Tipperary side Clonmel Commercials who were managed by former Finn Harps manager Charlie McKeever.
However, in an interview with The Irish Independent, Durcan hinted that he may return to Donegal this summer.
Durcan who is currently based in Qatar, hasn’t ruled out the option of lining out for Donegal in the Ulster SFC this summer, and said he speaks to Rory Gallagher regularly.
Durcan said, “I would chat to Rory regularly. He’s a good friend of mine.
“I’ll look at that. He said get the Ballyboden thing finished with and see how you are feeling.
“Rory did say to me ‘do what you have to do for yourself and that’s the main thing.’
“We’ll see what happens over the next few months, we’ll get this (club campaign) over with and you never know what the summer will bring.”
