ONE man’s incredible journey to every GAA club in Ireland arrives in its 25th county tomorrow – in Donegal.
Kevin O’Riordan is a primary school teacher from Tipperary.
Last year he volunteered with the HOPE Foundation in Kolkata India, where he taught the street children of Kolkata and provided workshops for their local teachers.
“Suffice to say my PE Curriculum involved hurleys, sliothars and gaelic footballs aplenty,” says Kevin.
“This year, I am continuing the HOPE Foundation’s fundraising efforts with a truly ambitious plan. I want to kick a point in every club and county grounds in the country – all 1616 of them – in a project entitled “Kick For Kolkata”.
Kevin is starting his Donegal journey in Bundoran tomorrow morning.
