The 2016 Make One Change Campaign run by the ParentHub, Donegal has been a huge success with more than 200 families from all across the county taking part.
Families were asked to make a small change as a New Year’s Resolution which would help improve their family life. The most popular change that families committed to was going for a family walk together with 38 families committing to this resolution.
Other families committed to getting healthy in other ways with 11 families committing to swimming, 12 families committing to going out cycling and 16 families committing to eating healthier. Thirty families committed to having a family movie night and 17 families committed to play board games together. Fifteen families committed to reading bedtime stories.
“No Gadget Days” also proved to be a popular choice with many families deciding to spend more time together either eating meals together or baking together or indeed just talking more to each other.
