DONEGAL fire crews called in the help of colleagues from the North last night to deal a shop blaze.
Camp West requested the assistance of firefighters from Strabane to attend the scene of a fire involving a tumble dryer at a semi-detached shop in Raphoe around 8 pm.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet and a covering jet to extinguish the blaze,” said a spokesman.
“Crews removed a gas cylinder to safety.
“They also ventilated the smoke from the premises.”
