MET EIREANN has issued a weather warning for Donegal on Monday.
A deep Atlantic depression, which has been named Storm Henry, will track eastwards to the north of Scotland on Monday evening and night, said the forecaster.
It will generate very strong winds over Ireland, especially in Donegal.
More detailed wind forecasts will follow, says Met Eireann, but has warned of damaging gusts which could cause disruption to power supplies.
The warning is in place from 9am Monday to 9am on Tuesday
Wintry showers will continue over Donegal tonight before milder weather tomorrow afternoon.
Sunday will be cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain in all areas. It will continue cold in Donegal with afternoon temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees. However, it will be milder elsewhere with highs of 10 to 12 degrees in fresh winds.
