Gardaí are investigating a break in at a holiday home in Loughanure village over the Christmas period.
A holiday home in Loughanure was targeted by festive thieves..
The cottage – that is located along the N56 road – was inspected by Gardaí late last night.
It is understood entry was gained through the front door, but as of yet there is no confirmation if anything was removed.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone travelling along the N56 over the holiday period that may have noticed anything suspicious in recent days to contact them.
The break-in follows two burglaries in Letterkenny yesterday.
