CHRISTMAS WISHES
Moville GAA would like to wish all its members, their families and the wider community a happy and peaceful Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
NEW YEAR’S EVE TAG 7’S
The annual Moville GAA Tag Gaelic Football Sevens will take place on New Year’s Eve at Carrick Field in what is sure to be a great days craic. Teams will consist of seven players which will be a mixture of both men and ladies with the tackle being replaced by a tag system. This will be the 3rd time the event has been run and always proves to be a very popular event with friendly competition between the competing teams. The event is open to all adult members with extra points available for the over 35s and female players in the team – so expect to see a few stars from the past make an impact! Registration will be at 11.30am with a 12 noon throw in for the first round of games. Refreshments will be provided to players and supporters so come along for a good day’s fun while running off some of the Christmas turkey. More details will be available on the clubs facebook page.
LOTTO
There was no jackpot winner this week. The winning numbers were 4, 8, 9, 22. The €50 runner-up prize goes to Larry and Margaret O’Kane. Next week’s jackpot will be €6,700. Thank you for your continued support. We would like to appeal for more Lotto sellers as it is out main source of income.
CLUB MERCHANDISE
Still have some last minute Christmas presents to get? The club has in stock Moville GAA club jerseys, hoodies and half-zip tops. These would make an ideal stocking filler. Please contact Brigid Harkin for all merchandise.
