MOVEMBER
Friday 30th of November was a date circled on calendars in many of our club members homes, as after a month long effort of growing moustaches, they finally became clean shaven men again, all in the aid of charity. Many club players, officials, coaches and supporters took part in the event, which was organised by Paul Mc Laughlin (Fildara) and Brendan Mc Gonigle. Once the faces were clean-shaven, it was decided that losing facial hair wasn’t enough, as some hardy (or hairy) members had their legs or chests waxed also. We would like to give a special mention to Jackie Mc Kinley, Aisling Orr and Rosena their assistance on the night. All monies raised on the night will go to Friends of Letterkenny Hospital and Crumlin Childrens Hospital in Dublin.
CLUB SHOP
The Malin GAA club shop will be open in the clubhouse on Saturdays from 12-2 and on Sundays from 11-15 to 2-00. There are a large selection of club merchandise in stock, which can be purchased on the day. A list of other club gear, hoodies, rain jackets, shorts, socks, hats, scarves, kit bags etc are also available. New to the club shop this year are club-crested gloves, which would make an ideal stocking filler. Club vouchers are now also available and would make an ideal birthday or Christmas present, or for any occasion. The club are holding a pre Christmas sale with Donegal fleece jackets reduced from €60 to €45. Malin club storm windcheaters are also reduced by 25% in the sale. Both items are available in mixed sizes. For more details, contact Susan on 07493 70638.
