THEY’RE a credit to their club and their county; but this evening the brave men of Urris just came up short in their Ulster Club Junior Championship Final in Co Derry
A strong second-half showing propelled Tyrone’s Rock St Patrick’s to the provincial title.
The Tyrone champions shaded a close first-half on a scoreline of 0-6 to 0-4 but seized control of proceedings after the restart thanks to goals from Conor McCreesh and Eamon Ward.
Urris’ woes were compounded when Mark McLaughlin missed a second-half penalty.
The final scoreline flattered the Tyrone outfit.
But Urris can be proud of their run through Donegal and into Ulster this year.
